Massage Therapy | Spectrum Healthcare

What is a Massage Therapist?

Massage therapists promote general health and wellness through the manipulation of soft tissue. Our massage therapists specialise in massage techniques aimed at providing therapeutic relief of muscle tension, aches and pains. Incorporating massage as a part of your treatments will help in assisting quicker recovery times and facilitate tissue healing and repair.

What do we do?

Remedial and deep tissue massages are the most commonly sought-after and involve the compression, gliding and stretching of muscle and fascia. Often our massage therapists will use natural oils and herbal essences to enhance relaxation and promote anti-inflammatory properties to reduce pain and muscle tension.

  • He/she will get a better understanding of your injury and what you hope to achieve from treatment.

  • Once a mutual understanding and agreement is achieved your massage will commence focusing on your areas of concern. At the end of your massage, further discussion may take place regarding further treatments in the future and any take-home advice.
