Damien Benson

Damien, our principal pracitioner is one of only a handful of fully credentialed Active Release Technique (ART) providers in Australia, certified in full body (upper, lower and spine), nerve entrapment and masters level.

Damien is a graduate of Macquarie University with a Science Degree majoring in Anatomy and Physiology and also a Masters Degree in Chiropractic Science. He has further post-graduate studies and accreditation in,

As an avid cyclist and having been involved in triathlons, Damien understands that pain and injuries are common amongst athletes. Damien’s expertise lies within lower limb sporting injuries and corrective exercise therapy. He has worked extensively with various athletes from Olympic level track & field, NRL footballers and Ironman triathletes.

Alongside his sporting interests, Damien’s experience has lead him to specialise in workplace injuries and occupational health and safety. Currently, Damien is the injury management consultant for Linfox Australia and Costa Logistics.

Stephanie Mock

Stephanie is a graduate of the University of Sydney completing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Physiotherapy.

Stephanie has spent the last several years at the Gosford District and Wyong Hospitals in the Central Coast. During her time in the public sector, Stephanie’s experience has allowed her to deal with various rehabilitation cases, from intensive care units, outpatient physiotherapy and orthopaedics.

Alongside her hospital experience Stephanie has worked with the Ryde-Eastwood Netball Association, treating acute sporting injuries for all-age competitions and state championships.

Leigh Perry

Leigh has completed a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science and a postgraduate degree in Masters of Chiropractic at Macquarie University. She has focused primarily on injuries of the spine, sporting injuries and rehabilitative care.

Leigh uses a multidisciplinary approach to treating muscular and spinal injuries, by utilising techniques such as soft tissue therapy and dry needling she understands that the presenting complaint is often a symptom of an underlying muscular imbalance and therefore tailors her treatment to each patient’s individual needs.

Leigh has a keen interest in women’s health and pediatrics, especially children with behavioral and learning difficulties.

Elizabeth Stathakis

Elizabeth is an accredited Dietitian, Nutritionist, and Exercise Physiologist, who has completed a Bachelor of Health and Exercise Science at the University of New South Wales and a postgraduate Masters of Nutrition and Dietetics at Sydney University.

Elizabeth is experienced in pediatrics, aged care, musculoskeletal rehabilitation and corporate health promotion. As an Exercise Physiologist she believes healthy eating as well as being physically active is integral to feeling energetic, healthy and minimising lifestyle related diseases.

Elizabeth has worked with children and adults, helping them to achieve their health goals from weight management, to injury rehabilitation and optimising sporting performance. She has focused primarily on type two diabetes management, cardiovascular health management, falls prevention and pediatric rehabilitative care.

You will often find Elizabeth featured in publications such as Men’s Health Magazine and Meat & Livestock Australia as she regularly provides her expert comment on nutrition and general well-being.

Melissa Decelis

Is a graduate of RMIT University (Melbourne), completing an undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications in Osteopathy.

Melissa has practiced Osteopathy since 2006 and Massage since 2003 in various Australian health clinics. She also has experience in Corporate Case & Injury Management in the Worker’s Compensation Industry and has a Return to Work Co-ordinator Certification.

In 2009, Melissa expanded her Osteopathic and Rehabilitation skills working overseas in Toronto, Canada alongside multiple health professional including an Orthopaedic Surgeon, Musculoskeletal Physicians, Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Naturopaths and Pilates Instructors. Melissa understands the need and supports multi-discplinary model of healthcare.

Late 2010, Melissa returned to Melbourne, Australia and with a passion for Osteopathy, Health & Wellness and city living opened ‘Osteopathy CBD’ early in 2011.

Melissa has a range of experiences working with: sporting athletes from the weekend warriors to the competitive elite, various performers and live entertainers backstage at concerts, corporate business providing injury management consultation and onsite treatment.

Alongside providing treatments in a private practice setting in Melbourne, Melissa has joined the team at Spectrum Healthcare as an Injury Management Consultant for Linfox Australia.

With plenty of free parking with easy lift access to our facilities, no referral is necessary for most chiropractic and physiotherapy consultations, with the exception of DVA, motor vehicle accidents and Work Cover related treatments.
