Spectrum Healthcare’s Services
Many people perceive Chiropractic care to be associated with the treatment of ‘back pain’ only. However, Chiropractic care is an effective treatment method for various afflictions including pain, dysfunction, tingling, numbness, sprains, and strains, in particular sports chiropractic can treat various musculoskeletal, sports and occupational injuries
Physiotherapy plays an integral role in the management of many common sporting injuries. Prompt assessment and diagnosis is essential to ensure successful treatment and rehabilitation of such injuries. Our Spectrum Healthcare physiotherapists are trained to deal with a wide range of sporting injuries.
Massage therapy refers to the manipulation of the muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia, and connective tissues of the body. It also allows for the removal of toxins, such as lactic acid, which tends to store in our muscles and tendons. These chemicals can lead to dysfunction and cause the associated muscles to constrict.
Spectrum Healthcare understands the importance of promoting health and well-being in a workplace. Our skilled practitioners provide healthcare support for some of Australia’s largest companies including major logistic companies, manufacturers and retail chains. Specific care is required for an organisation’s most valuable asset – their employees.
Pilates is an exercise and strengthening method that focuses on improving whole body strength, co-ordination, balance and flexibility. The aim of Pilates is to develop strong deep stabilising muscles (“core”) which helps to stabilise the spinal column. This helps to relieve loading through the lower back joints and discs, allowing the body to move freely and efficiently.
